President Benigno "Noynoy" C. Aquino is the current and 15th president in the Philippines. He was elected in the said position last June 2010. He is the son of a former president in the Philippines, Pres. Corazon Aquino and the senator who was killed in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Sr. He is also the sister of the "Queen of All Media", Kris Aquino.
Aquino is the fourth generation politician. He was elected to the House of Representatives of the Philippines in 1998, representing the 2nd district of Tarlac. Aquino won re-election in 2001 and 2004, and served until 2007.
Aquino is the first president to be a bachelor, being unmarried and having no children. Aquino previously had a relationship with Shalani Soledad, A Valenzuela councilor and niece of former Senator Francisco Tatad. In November 2010, Aquino conirmed that he and Soledad had broken up. He had previously dated Korina Sanchez, Bernadette Sembrano and Liz Uy. Aquino is currently dating Bunny Calica, a teacher who is into early education and is working with Korean students.
